We're sorry that there's no official solution at the moment. Do the screens on You can install the latest version and try if changing the "Enable Desktop Duplication Engine on Windows 8 and newer" option in the VNC server options helps.
While not a direct answer to your question, I was able to use ZeroTier (https://www.zerotier.com/) with Veyon for remote networks and computers.
In my case the clients were mobile, so I just installed the ZeroTier client on each of them, and set Veyon to point at the ZeroTier IP address of each client.
hello I have problems since the videos I found are from previous versions and some things do not appear in the 4.2 have any video because I can not connect the other PCs to the master
Hi @Gianni-Lupindo
thank you very much for pointing out this issue which seem to have existed for quite a while already. Even though I'm not the maintainer of the italian translation I fixed the strings via search&replace: https://github.com/veyon/veyon/commit/0b5886aab687c5e364f2145a81fa720d9dbd604a - should be fixed in upcoming 4.2.1 release.
Hi @shinus
you can use access control rules to ask for confirmation whenever a client gets accessed, i.e. both monitoring mode and remote view or control. Defining an access control rule for remote control/view only is not possible as the client can't distinguish the accesses. See https://docs.veyon.io/en/latest/admin/access-control-rules.html for more information on access control rules.
Hi @mathiasm
welcome to Veyon! Is the same account ("Kasutaja") available on all computers with the same password? The Veyon Service on every computer always tries to authenticate the user locally. It's therefore recommended to work with domain users or set up key file authentication.
Good idea but if upgrade 4.1 to 4.2, the setting will be different and the file of key will be unusable.
If they can make a auto update without renew key, It's be great!
@niyas If a PC don't have a WebCamera, the option will be hidden or grey (disable).
We have the Microsoft Surface model so the camera is already integrated.
The "Run program" feature will always run programs with the privileges of the logged on user. If an administrator is logged on, your files will be launched with administrative privileges. If no user is logged on, for security reasons Veyon refuses to run a program at all.
@redegelde
we do not yet have any experiences with the services mentioned so I can't give you a reasonable answer. You can try if the logon dialog accepts your credentials. If so, everything is fine. If not you should consider using the key file authentication, see http://docs.veyon.io/en/latest/admin/configuration.html#authentication for details.
@Deps02
if you select a single computer before clicking the remote control button in the toolbar this computer will be opened automatically. You can also configure Veyon so that double clicking a computer automatically opens remote control, see the "Feature on double click" option at http://docs.veyon.io/en/latest/admin/reference.html#behaviour for details.
