As far as I can tell Veyon just uses local authentication by default. So any local username and password will work.

The service is really restartet... I tried several ways. Restartet in services.msc Restartet in the configurator in the service tab Restartet with cmd Everything is done with an administrator or also with the system account. I also tested the access right in the configurator... By checking the username... Before press apply the user don't have the right to access, but the user group from AD is already set... After pressing apply and restart the configurator the same user can access. This can be repoduced everytime the config will imported again.

Computers only have to be reachable via TCP/IP. If everything is set up properly and you can ping other hosts in the network, the netmask shouldn't matter.

Try using the free version of PDQ Deploy, I was able to deploy the Veyon 4.3.3.exe to 30 computers, its really simple to use. When deploying just add the following parameters for a silent install and remove Veyon Master: /S /NoMaster https://www.pdq.com/pdq-deploy/

This is what I have setup for OpenLDAP, if it helps. In OpenLDAP it uses multiple memberUid's for members of groups. [image: 1580553913353-veyon-env-settings.png] I changed the group member identification and filtered objects on the different OU's and then used the test to ensure I got back the right objects.
