Delay before I can remote control
-
Over the last couple of versions I've found that when I remote control a computer there is sometimes a ~20 second delay before I can remote control(moreover, see the remote control take place). If I remote control a computer sitting next to me I can see the mouse moving and click on the host computer, but on my master computer it appears to be frozen.
To confirm it isn't a network bottleneck or something, I installed dameware and standard VNC. Both of these clients instantaneously give me control. Veyon continues to experience a delay. Is there anything I can try tweaking to remove this delay?

The exact same thing happens to me. When I try to open a student to view it, it freezes for a period of time varying between 10 and 40 seconds. This didn't happen to me before, and I've been using Veyon for many years. Does anyone know why this might be?

I've had the same for a while now. Version 4.9.0 on the client and up through 4.9.8 on the master. I'll upgrade the client on Monday to see if that resolves the problem (can't RDP into it and can't get to that building today).
I should mention that I'm using the UltraVNC that comes with the installer, I'd be happy to use a different VNC if that would fix the issues.
Also this is Windows 11 EDU 24h2 on both computers, all MS updates, etc.
