    @rnetuband How would you do this? Would we be able to fix this within our classroom or through the district?
    I have the same concern as stated above.

    Thank you for sharing your solution! The troubles you had might be related to https://github.com/veyon/veyon/issues/761 so until 4.6.1 is released you could try again with computer groups and make sure the nested groups option is not enabled.

    Hello, thanks for at least answering, but my question is actually very simple and everyone who uses Veyon had to do the same thing I have to do. Namely establishing a connection to another computer, in this case a network. My question is how can I create a network with several computers so that Veyon can be installed, set up and used. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with networks. I can do the rest by myself.

    @tobydox I have the same problem with LinuxMint (which is based on Ubuntu 20.4). The service veyon seems to be running properly, but telnet localhost 11100 says Unable to connect to remote host: Cannot assign requested address, and the message on the Master "veyon service unreachable or not running".

    The same problem happened with version 4.3.1 which is the one packaged on ubuntu-20.04, and the same happens with the latest release downloaded from veyon.io.

    You should check the permissions of the key with:

    $ ls -al /etc/veyon/keys/private/teacher/key

    "install the official all-in-one package which can be downloaded from our website"
    Is it possible to have the adress of a repository that could be added in /etc/apt/source.list instead of download the package via the website ? (For debian)

    @Astring can you elaborate a bit more on what you're trying to achieve? Did you export a configuration file previously and want to import it on another computer?

    @mb-one Our PPA now contains the latest 4.6.0 release which should fix the mentioned issues.

    Simply by adding the IP addresses or hostnames of the computers in the other network. This requires proper routing to be set up such that the computer running Veyon Master can connect to each of the other computers by distinct IP addresses.

    Veyon is free and Open Source so you don't have to buy a license. In case you want to use some of the commercial add-ons (such as Internet Access Control or Network Discovery) for extra functionalities, you can buy licenses for these add-ons separately.
