Access control rule to ask permission to access the master from outside, not working
-
Hi,
I experiment an issue with "access control rules" not working the expected way.
Veyon 4.2.4 64bits on windows seven.
I want the master in room A to manage the clients students computers in room A and room B but also occasionally the clients students laptops on movable carts C and D.
I list all the managed computers in rooms A B C and D, the master is in room A. All computers adressed by IP in veyon configurator. We don't use LDAP.
Without control rules, everything works.
But to comply with our IT charter, I want to avoid spying or control without permission of the master by another master :
Therefore I designed a rule to ask permission to access the master from outside the room (see picture in french), translation here:
General :- inversion of all conditions : checked
Condition :
- accessing computer is local host : checked
Action :
- Ask permission to the connected user : checked
I thought this would work. But actually as soon as I apply the rule (only on the master), the master can not send its screen on the clients students computers by demo function anymore. Is it a bug? Is there any way to avoid the rule for clients?
Thank you very much.
