MAC address with LDAP

Is there a way to use LDAP for the backend but be able to manually enter MAC addresses for computers and have them reference and assign to the listings in Veyon???
If this isn't already a thing can it be thought about for future releases please???

That would be all and good if we had the ability to edit any of the attributes in our AD, for you see, I am in an Education Queensland school, and no-one gets permission to edit AD attributes manually.

So I have quite the predicament on my hands...
