Lubuntu 18.10 compatibility
-
Is the Current version of veyon compatibile with the last lubuntu release (18.10)?
I have some problems during the installation. Among errors, I've seen that it looks for a version 6 of some libraries, but lubuntu installs version 7 of those libraries (i dont remember the name at the moment). -
Hi @alessio
in general Veyon is fully compatible with Ubuntu 18.10 and any derivate. In case the 18.04 packages cause problems you can try to build a binary package on your own. We might add 18.10 packages to our PPA once Veyon 4.2.0 is ready. Until then it really would be interesting which package or library is missing. -
If I use the package manager, after doing
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:veyon/stable
sudo apt-get update
I try to find Veyon among available software and I receive this error message:http://ppa.launchpad.net/veyon/stable/ubuntu/dists/cosmic/Release
404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.95.83 80]If I try to install directly the .deb package, it says that is a dependence error, libprocps6: but I ‘ve libprocps7 installed.
