Mouse pointer Freezes

I work in a school and it only happens to laptops with Veyon installed on it. The mouse pointer sometimes freezes after sleep mode / power on (but is always fixed again after a reboot). The mouse is still connected but the pointer is not moving but does move with the touchpad. Happens with different mice and different laptop models but they all have Veyon installed. I assume that the Veyon input device interceptor may cause this. Is there a way to disable a certain setting to avoid this problem?
