    Hi

At my school I try to set up Veyon in a very basic way. I thought, that if I create a location on a client and then the computer (name / hostname) is added to this room, I'm always linked to this room when I create the rooms in Veyon Master (for the teachers). But I realized, that the teacher can actually name the locations differently and still the computers are shown. I don't really get why I should even use locations. Moreover the students will change classes (6th graders will keep their laptops for the next grade when they change the classroom or actually even the building.

So is there any sense in using the locations, I mean configure the clients (students' laptops) to specific rooms or can I also just use one location name (like the city) for all clients without any problems?

    Thanks,
    Thomas
