Show notification on remote connection, can't get it to work

Hello everyone
I'm trying to get the notification on client computer to notify when the teacher connects. But even if I enable it in Configurator it doesn't show. Anyone who knows what's missing?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit? When you register for an account, you'll always come back to exactly where you were before, and choose to be notified of new replies (either via email, or push notification).
