Have to Restart Service When New User Logs In - Linux Mint
-
I have successfully setup Veyon on 24 Linux Mint machines. The issue I have is that when a regular student logs in on the machine the link is broken and then can only be restarted by manually going to the configuration toll and restarting the service.
Is there something that I can do to fix this? It seems that the service does not end when the last user logs off and therefore does not start correctly when the new user logs in.
Is it a service permissions issue? Is there some way to stop all three services (service, worker, server) when a user logs off and then restart them when a new user logs in?
Please help. I would love to complete this project before the kids come back to class after the New Year! Thank you in advance.

@mscdaddy30 EDIT: So I figured out how to solve this problem! I installed Veyon via the apt command from the repository and this version had the issue with the service not staying between login sessions. Once I downloaded the .deb file from the website and installed it, the problem went away! The only criticism I have is that there is not a way to remove the "master" portion of the install. Fortunately, the Master that shows up in the start menu requires elevated privileges so the kids cannot access it.
