Veyon set up
-
Hello, I am new to the forum and also completely new to Veyon and the topic of networks.
I work at a school in Germany and I was offered to temporarily lead the EDP lessons because the actual teacher quit.
The teacher had another programme, which he uninstalled on his last day, as agreed with the school management.
After consultation with the school, we chose Veyon because it seemed to us to be the best solution. However, I have no experience in this area and can only do the most basic things. My main task now is to teach the students about Microsoft, which I can do.
I now need step-by-step installation instructions, if possible in German, in order to set up Veyon safely and in a functioning way.
We have a teacher's computer at school, which is connected with a lantern cable. The computers for the students are set up via wifi.
Now for my first question:
I need a TCP/IP network for Veyon, what is the best way to set this up?I know this is a layman's question, but networks have never been an issue for me until now.
It would be nice if someone competent could help me.

Can't anyone help me?

Hello,
I'm not sure, if anyone here will be able help you. Your question is quite general. You should start with manual, try to create a connection between two computers (teacher - veyon master, student - veyon service). If you get stuck in some part, you can ask about a specific problem here.
Maybe you should try to find somebody "physical" in your area to help you get started.

Hello, thanks for at least answering, but my question is actually very simple and everyone who uses Veyon had to do the same thing I have to do. Namely establishing a connection to another computer, in this case a network. My question is how can I create a network with several computers so that Veyon can be installed, set up and used. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with networks. I can do the rest by myself.
