This is a known problem in 4.5.7. Until 4.6.0 with according fixes is released, you can try the intermediate test build for Focal at https://github.com/veyon/veyon/releases/download/v4.5.7/veyon_4.5.7-56-ubuntu-focal_amd64.deb which include the fixes too.
