webcams delay issue

Hi to all
I'm trying to do some tests with webcams.
If I connect a webcam on one of the users' computer I get as results on the master Pc a delay of 1-2 seconds on the live view even if I have created and internal network: the machines are all connected by a simple switch.
the users need to modify manually an object and my goal is to have an overview on their manual work with the possibility to attend in case of issues
Do you know if it is possible to speed up the transmission?

Unfortunately there are limitations by the VNC protocol which could lead to the latencies you've described. Where do you observe the latencies? In the monitoring view with thumbnails or also while remote controlling/viewing a computer?
