About the slow connecting speed of new version 4.4.0

After upgrading the version to 4.4.0, the URL sending problem had been solved but on the other hand, the remote control speed is much slower than before.
When I tried to remote control my students' computers, I always need to wait for about 10 seconds or even more.
I wish this problem could be solved as soon as possible. thanks a lot.

I'm not currently seeing this with a new install of 4.4.0.
Is it perhaps worth trying to wipe your settings on a pupil PC, and then re-import settings/key exported from a newly installed 4.4.0?

Disclaimer - I haven't upgraded from any previous versions, and my testing is still very recent and limited.
