Can't log in to PCs with local user because of Entra ID
-
We have about 30 PCs in one classroom and everything works great with Veyon apart from logging in simultaneously to all PCs with one local administrator. I can log in manually to each PC, but I have to press "Other user" first because of the last logged in Entra user profile.
When I use the "Log in" function and enter the login credentials, Veyon tries to access the last logged in Entra user profile with the local admin password. I've tried to use:
- admin
- .\admin
- PC_NAME\admin
But no luck. Any ideas how to make it work?

Found a solution! All you have to do is to make a security policy that disables showing the last signed-in user. This defaults the sign-in screen to "Other user" and allows Veyon to correctly enter the login details. This is also better for privacy because you don't see the info of the last person that used the PC (Admins can still see in azure or some other admin panel, it just makes a visual change to the login screen.)
