remote connexion on computers with a specific user (using/from veyon master)
-
Hello,
in our organization, the vast majority of computers are running under windows (11 and some still 10). We had a request of users of Veyon to connect from Veyon Master to some computers with a specific user.
When trying to connect to computers in Veyon, the login and password of the user to connect are asked, but the connexion systematically fails as windows still keeps the last user login for every computer : it seems veyon can not substitute the login fulfilled instead of the one in the memory of the computer.
I tried to take over the computer and select "another user" so that the previous user login is not shown on the logon session screen before attempting to connect, but the result is the same.
Does anyone tried and figured out a way to connect to multiple computers with a specific user or is this functionnality not operational yet ?

Hello,
This is a Windows login configuration on non-Veyon PCs to modify.
There should be no information from the previous user. Interactive login must be enabled :
gpedit.msc
Expand: Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options.
On the right, locate and double-click the "Interactive logon: Do not display last user name" policy.
