I get that the master needs to be installed to any teacher computer who wants access to student computer monitoring, but should the main master be installed to the DNS to eliminate lag? I installed it to an end user, and seems fairly laggy/freezing intermittently.

    Thoughts on best practice?

First of all welcome to the Veyon community! Veyon does not need to run on a DNS server. It only requires a working DNS setup in case you're adding computers by host names instead of IP addresses. In which situations do you encounter lags?

Yes it is laggy. I love to let my students play. They usually complain about lag. I have decided to test this. I told on of the students to keep there game open and leave. I opened the app it was laggy and the lag stopped when I closed it.
