    My students have figured out how to bypass - even with the new version. What they do is swipe in from the left side of the screen on the computers.
    OS is Windows 10
    The option it then gives them is to add another desktop or whatever was there before and then they access the browser.

      Unfortunately disabling touch input on Windows is very difficult and therefore not yet implemented. Any suggestions or code contributions are welcome.

        You can do it with a registry file, which is what we do.

        Save the following code as a .reg file and run it:
        To disable swiping

        Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
        ; Created by: EnzoMatrix

        [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI]
        "AllowEdgeSwipe"=-

        [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI]
        "AllowEdgeSwipe"=dword:00000000

        To Re-enable swiping

        Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
        ; Created by: EnzoMatrix

        [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI]
        "AllowEdgeSwipe"=-

        [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EdgeUI]
        "AllowEdgeSwipe"=-

        Hope that helps.

          Use the Veyon ‘Run program’ feature for running either a Devcon or PnPUtil script to disable (and enable) the device’s HID-compliant touch screen drivers using the specific HID\VID device instance path(s) and without the need to restart Windows.

          devcon enable "@HID\VID_056A&PID_00E6&MI_01&COL05\8&27A6CAE3&0&0004"
          devcon enable "@HID\VID_056A&PID_00E6&MI_01&COL01\8&27A6CAE3&0&0000"

          devcon disable "@HID\VID_056A&PID_00E6&MI_01&COL05\8&27A6CAE3&0&0004"
          devcon disable "@HID\VID_056A&PID_00E6&MI_01&COL01\8&27A6CAE3&0&0000"

          Disabling touch in this manner should still allow pen input.
