Log in using non-password domain account

Our library employs Veyon to interact with those using our public computers. This has been particularly valuable in minimizing Covid-19 concerns among our staff and patrons.
To this point we have made use of a generic domain login account which does not have an assigned password. Veyon 4.4.2 provides a Log In feature which would allow us the convenience of remotely logging in a specific account for all selected computers.
It seems the Veyon Log In feature does not accommodate non-password accounts as the User login OK button remains greyed out after entering the domain user name.
Is there some possible workaround?
