Asking for IP address everytime

I am setting up my classroom and must have made a mistake. When I want to remote control or view a client I get the request to enter the IP address each time. I select the computer thumbnail and then click Remote Control and then the prompt appears for entering the IP. What could I have done wrong?
...I just discovered that if I right click on a client thumbnail, it will work fine and I can control or view the client. If I try selecting a client thumbnail and then click the Remote Control button in the actions bar at the top of the window, I am asked to enter the IP address..

Hi,
this is the right way.
The top bar is set to manage the whole group of computers. Then if you want to control one of them or see one screen, you'll have to put the ip adress... or use the right clic on the desired computer. So you can have what you need.
