Best way to update Veyon ?

Hi everyone
We use Veyon in my secondary school.
I would like to update our Veyon version.
What's the best solution to do this please ?- Uninstall the old version and install the new one ? (in that case, will I lose my configuration ?)
- Install the new version without removing the old one ?

both ways work even though on Windows it's recommended to uninstall first so that after a reboot no files are left inC:\Program Files\Veyon. Afterwards you can install again. All settings are preserved except you pass the/ClearConfigparameter to the uninstaller. It's still recommended to keep a copy of an exported configuration (JSON file) before upgrading. -
Do I need to uninstall on student computers? or just uninstall and update the master?
