Poll: your screen setup and where the Remote View window should open
-
I'm going to describe the setup on my school first, so you get an idea how to answer.
In our school we have MS Windows systems with mostly single screens and one room with dual screens. The teachers always have dual monitors, where the main screen is cloned to the projector or big TV in the room, so the students can see what the teacher is showing them. The secondary screen is on the right side of the main. It is permanently showing the Veyon master, so the teacher can always see, what the students are doing.
If the teacher wants to help a student, he opens the remote view and we at our school want the window to show the complete student workspace (even if the student has a dual screen setup) on the secondary screen. At the moment the remote view window opens and is partly "leaking" into the main screen, blocking parts of the view on the main screen for the other students. The teacher has to drag the window a bit and maximize it on the secondary screen each time the window opens.
Our ideal solution would be to always automatically maximize the remote view window on the secondary monitor.
Now I hope to get many answers about how your screen setup is at your school and how you are using Veyon and want the remote view and control window to be opened and positioned in your optimal workflow.
