      Hi,

      Linux installation :

      • in the package manager of Debian we can choose to uncheck the master module for the students.
      • I had problems with the old version (4.1.7)
      • Installing a newer version (4.5 or 4.6 deb) I don't have this choice ...
packages_veyon.png and the master screen is available for the students ... and they try to play with it
That's a problem : how is it possible to get rid of it ?

      Thanks
      Vincent

@le-mieux The packages provided by the Veyon project always include all components. However if you secured your Veyon installation properly (via proper authentication method and access control configuration) it should not be an issue to have Veyon Master installed on student computers as well since even if students launch it, they won't be able to access computers. Remember that even if you don't install the veyon-master package (which basically only contains the veyon-master binary) smart students will also be able to download the veyon-master binary and run it from their home folder.
