Veyon for the visually deficient kids
-
Hi, in ours schools we started using Veyon so the visually deficient kids can see the smart board directly on their computer screens instead of at the far end of the class.
They have the Master version with only the remote viewing and screen shot enabled. They also have only a single computer they can view and it's the one controlling the smart board. The kids can't use the mouse. Double clicking on the preview screen is a lot to ask.
Is there a way for Veyon to start automatically in remote viewing to a specific computer?
Or is there shortcuts or hot keys like Alt-V to activate the remote viewing function on the selected computer? I haven't found any info on hot keys.
Thanks -
@kelfka Hi, I haven't tried it myself yet, but maybe you could try opposite approach. Demostration mode should let you stream the screen from one PC (smart board) to other clients (kids)... You start the action from Master PC... kids do not have to do anything...
Manual:
You can use the demonstration mode (demo mode) to start a presentation. In this mode, the content of your or a student’s screen is broadcasted to all computers and displayed in real time. You can choose between a full screen and a window demo.
