Thanks in advance for helping me out.

I work for a company that teaches kids how to code.I'm thinking now of making a simple program opens once the computer turns on. It would send the hostname as well as the IP address to an online database such as Googles Firebase and then just download the data as a JSON file and update the computers in Veyon.

What do you guys think. Am I overthinking it?

@Jimbaker for completeness, what was your solution. It may in the future help others with the same issue?

Automating computer import/export is possible through the CLI: https://docs.veyon.io/en/latest/admin/cli.html#network-object-directory
