    Dear Veyon Development Team,

First of all, thank you for your excellent work on Veyon.
I recently upgraded from Veyon 4.10.4 to 4.11.4 in a Windows 11 Pro educational environment and conducted several practical classroom tests.

    Positive Results
The improvements in the core functionality are clearly noticeable.

    Demo Mode
The stability of demo mode has improved significantly.
In particular, sharing a student's screen with the whole classroom is now much smoother than in 4.10.4.
    Reduced latency
    Better synchronization
    Improved overall stability
These improvements are very valuable in real classroom situations.

    File Distribution
The new runtime destination directory feature is also very useful.
    I successfully verified:
    Desktop
    Documents
    Downloads
    Custom subfolders such as Desktop\CourseMaterials
In addition, missing folders are created automatically, which greatly improves workflow efficiency.

    Suggestions for Future Improvements
While the backend functionality has improved considerably, there are still opportunities to enhance usability and user experience.

    1. Destination Directory Selection UI
Currently, destination paths must be entered manually.
      For example:
      Desktop
      Documents
      Downloads
      Desktop\CourseMaterials

It would be very helpful to provide:
A drop-down list for common locations
    Folder browsing dialogs
    Path auto-completion
    Recently used destinations
This would reduce typing errors and make the feature easier for teachers to use.

    1. Better Documentation for Runtime Directory Selection
The feature is powerful, but its behavior is not immediately obvious.
      Examples such as:
      Desktop
      Documents
      Downloads
      Desktop\Assignments
could be shown directly in the dialog or documentation.

    2. Enhanced File Collection (Collect) Workflow
Many educational users rely heavily on assignment collection.
      Future improvements could include:
      Better collection status reporting
      Improved handling of duplicate filenames
      Automatic organization of collected files
      Collection previews before execution

    3. Classroom-Oriented UI Enhancements
      Possible additions:
      Destination folder presets
      Frequently used transfer templates
      Assignment distribution profiles
      Easier management of classroom workflows
      Overall Impression
The improvements made in Veyon 4.11.x demonstrate a strong focus on reliability and performance.

As an educator, I personally believe that prioritizing stability, performance, and core functionality was the right decision.

Now that the core functionality has become significantly more reliable, future development effort could focus on usability and human-interface improvements for teachers.

Thank you for developing and maintaining this excellent open-source classroom management solution.

    Best regards,
A Veyon user from a training school
